Thanks Tabitha, me too, but she had a long rewarding, fulfilling life with no regrets. That is what we can all take peace in. And you’re absolutely right, we all have to keep our eye on the prize and never assume getting it later is always an option. A photograph is not just a picture, it’s a story of a person’s soul and life.

Granny lived in Palmerton, PA. when we were growing up, but moved into Phoebe Homes in Allentown about 15 years ago, because she got tired of having to worry about taking care of a house etc. I have been to Allentown to visit many times, and always enjoyed their farmer’s market at the fairgrounds, which was right across the street from Granny. \

I’m from NY actually. I remember passing through Hazleton on the way to NY….isn’t it right off I 81? Sounds very familiar. Definitely it’s a small world. Thank you for your comment, and I hope all is well with you! Any progress on the search engines for you?

Jay, I am sorry for your loss but this post proves everything a photographer stands for. We need to capture every moment because one day we will only have our pictures to help remind us of a beautiful smile.

Are you from Allentown or just your Granny? I’m from that funny little part of the world- Hazleton, to be exact. Crazy rice and beans.
